Intensive Outpatient Programs

Fentanyl

Did you know that over 150 people die every day from overdoses related to synthetic opioids such as fentanyl every day?

Fentanyl addiction has quickly become a leading cause of death in the United States in recent years. At Comfort Recovery we work hard to do our part in decreasing this number and helping people receive the care they need before it is too late. Our drug addiction intensive outpatient programs are designed to assist individuals with fentanyl addiction and other mental health issues so that they can develop a lasting recovery and begin their journey to living a happy, healthy and productive life.

The duration of our drug addiction intensive outpatient programs can range from from as little as 30 days to as long as 6 months. How long you stay in treatment will depend on several factors, including the severity of your fentanyl addiction, if this is your first time at a Los Angeles intensive outpatient program, and your overall physical and mental health. If you or your loved one has a less severe addiction, minimal or no co-occurring mental health conditions, and a stable, safe support structure at home, then our drug addiction intensive outpatient programs are the right choice for you.

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a form of fentanyl addiction treatment in which patients are able to visit our treatment center several days a week for a few hours at a time. This form of treatment still allows our patients to continue to live at home, attend school or work, and lead a normal life. Our intensive outpatient programs are more time-intensive than other standard outpatient programs, but they give our patients the time and resources they need to heal from their fentanyl addiction. Our drug addiction intensive outpatient programs focus a lot on group therapy. This is because group settings help in allowing you to improve your communication, give and receive support from peers, experience structure, and perhaps most importantly, learn how to socialize fentanyl addiction

The scary thing about fentanyl is that people are unknowingly taking it because fentanyl is commonly laced in other drugs that look identical to what they are used to taking. If you or someone you know is suffering from fentanyl addiction, Comfort Recovery’s drug addiction intensive outpatient programs can give you the help and support you need to not only fully recover, but go on to live a fulfilling life.

What to Expect at an Intensive Outpatient Program

Intensive outpatient treatment programs in Los Angeles use several different therapy models to help you achieve and maintain long-term sobriety. Some intensive outpatient programs also incorporate 12-step programs into their treatment approaches.
