Intensive Outpatient Programs

Benzos

Benzos, or Benzodiazepines, are a kind of depressant drug whose main chemical structure is the fusion of a benzene ring and a diazepine ring. They are used to treat conditions such as anxiety disorders, insomnia, and seizures, but more and more they are being misused and abused.  Benzos addiction has risen immensely in the United States during the past few years. At Comfort Recovery we work hard to do our part in helping people who have become addicted to benzos. Our benzos addiction intensive outpatient programs are made to assist individuals with benzos addiction and other mental health issues so that they can develop a strong recovery and begin their path to living a happy, healthy and productive life.

The duration of our benzos addiction intensive outpatient programs can range from from as little as 30 days to as long as 6 months. Depending on the severity of your benzos addiction is the amount of time you will spend with us. If you or your loved one has a less severe addiction, minimal or no co-occurring mental health conditions, and a stable, safe support structure at home, then our benzos addiction intensive outpatient programs are the right choice for you.

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a form of benzos addiction treatment in which patients are able to visit our treatment center several days a week for a few hours at a time. This form of treatment still allows our patients to continue to live at home, attend school or work, and lead a normal life. Our intensive outpatient programs are more time-intensive than other standard outpatient programs, but they give our patients the time and resources they need to heal from their benzos addiction. Our benzos addiction intensive outpatient programs focus a lot on group therapy. This is because group settings help in allowing you to improve your communication, give and receive support from peers, experience structure, and perhaps most importantly, learn how to socialize without the dependency of your benzos addiction

If you or someone you know has been abusing their medication leading them to a downward spiral of addiction, we are here to help. We understand that addiction makes people repeatedly seek out and use dangerous substances and engage in harmful behaviors.   That is why we work one-on-one with our patients, giving them the care and support they need from their  benzos addiction. Comfort Recovery’s benzos addiction intensive outpatient programs will allow you to go on to live a productive life.
